July 29, 2013 2 Comments
Routes, Roads and Landscapes, a profusely illustrated collection edited by a group of Norwegian scholars (Mari Hvattum, Brita Brenna, Beate Elvebakk and Janike Kampevold Larsen), is reviewed by Julian Baker.
Published by Ashgate in 2011, the volume was part of a larger project that included the recent exhibition Views. Norway Seen from the Road 1733–2020 hosted by the National Museum in Oslo.
Further information about the exhibition can be found here, alongside a wonderful selection of images.
