The first issue of the 2014 volume of Society and Space includes the theme section, “A New Apparatus: Technology, Government and the Resilient City.” It is guest edited by Bruce Braun and Stephanie Wakefield, and is comprised of an editorial introduction, papers by Braun, Jennifer Gabrys and Ross Exo Adams and a translation of a piece by Giorgio Agamben. All contents of the theme section will be open access until 11 March 2014.
